Five years ago I started a post with these thoughts: "For years I have been thinking about those two questions: "What would I do if I knew for certain I had only 5 more years to live?” and "why don't I live that way now?”
Now I have begun my second five year plan. Less than a year into our first plan our grandson Oran was born, changing that plan dramatically, bringing so much joy to our lives. Now in the first year of our second five year plan a new granddaughter is due, and I can only imagine how she will change our lives, and bring more joy.
I still plan to travel, to live for one to three months in various locations, starting with Hong Kong, and then New York, Iceland, Scotland, New Zealand, and so on.
I want to write in this blog, and to finish my memoir of my time in Greenland, and to continue my photography by adding to this website, making calendars and books, and having exhibits of my prints.
To me maintaining connections with family and friends is extremely important, so I will need to work that into every day, whether it is by meeting face to face, or by phone, email, Skype, or other means.
“The Future is Pregnant!” as the sign on the lorry in Nigeria proclaimed.
